Who sees what you publish depends on two things: where you post it, and whether you charge for it. Here's the whole picture.
Posts
A free post can be opened by anyone with the link, and comes up in search. It appears in someone's feed only if they follow you — the feed is made of the people and channels you follow, in the order things were published.
A free post with Follow to unlock shows its preview to everyone, and opens fully once the reader follows you.
A paid post is visible to everyone, but only the free part — the rest opens after purchase.
Channels
Free public channels — open to everyone on Sociala.
Paid public channels — anyone can find the channel and see what it's about; the posts are for subscribers.
Private channels — people ask to join and you decide. Requests wait for your approval, and nobody sees the content until you accept them.
Hidden channels — don't appear in search; people reach them by direct link only.
When someone subscribes to a channel, they get a set number of your earlier posts along with everything published while they're subscribed — you choose how far back that reaches when you set the channel up. See Creating a Channel.
People who aren't signed in
Visitors without an account can read public posts, but anything active — liking, commenting, following, buying — asks them to sign in first.
See Free vs Paid Posts and Types of Channels on Sociala.
