There are two different things on Sociala, and it helps to know which is which.
Your Newsfeed
The Newsfeed is yours to fill. It shows posts from the people and channels you follow — nothing else finds its way in, and nothing you follow is left out.
So if your feed isn't showing what you'd like, the fix is in your hands: follow more of what interests you, and unfollow what no longer does.
For you
Beside your feed there's a For you block — a small selection of posts from across Sociala, including people you don't follow yet. It's there to help you find something new. The refresh icon next to the heading gives you a fresh set whenever you want one.
On the Channels page there's a second For you block, this one suggesting channels rather than posts. Each card shows what the channel is about, its topics and how many people follow it, with Follow right there. See all opens the full list.
Looking for something specific
Suggestions are for browsing. When you know what you're after, use search: it covers posts, people, channels, categories and hashtags. See How to Use Search.
