A recognizable avatar and a cover that says what the channel is about do more for a first impression than any description.
Upload or replace an image
Go to the channel you want to update and click Settings.
Open the Channel info tab.
The first two fields are Channel image and Cover image.
Click Upload and choose a file. Uploading a new one replaces the old image — you don't need to delete it first.
Save your changes.
To swap the cover quickly, you can also use the camera button on the cover itself on your channel page.
What the files need to be
Channel image: 400x400px, up to 30MB, in PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP.
Cover image: 1200x400px, up to 30MB, in PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP.
If an upload fails, the file is almost always too large or in another format — check those two first.
