Editing Your Channel

Open your channel and click Settings. What you'll see depends on the channel: a free channel has Channel info and Channel details, a paid one has Channel info, Membership and Management.

Channel info — how the channel looks

  • Channel image and Cover image. See Adding or Changing Your Channel's Image or Cover Photo.

  • Channel name and Channel nickname — each can be changed once every 30 days.

  • Channel categories — one to three.

  • Bio — up to 300 characters.

  • Channel rules — what you expect from people in your channel. New followers and subscribers see them once they join, and anyone can open them from your channel card. You can edit the rules once every 24 hours, and your subscribers get an email when you do.

Channel details — a free channel

The channel type is fixed at creation and shown here for reference. You can turn Donations on so people can support you with one-time or monthly donations on your posts, decide whether to Show channel in my profile, and delete the channel.

A private channel has no Show channel in my profile option — it isn't shown publicly and doesn't appear in search.

Membership — a paid channel

The type and payment model are fixed at creation and shown here for reference. What you can change:

  • Subscription plans and their prices.

  • Free trial — add, change or remove it per plan.

  • Post visibility limit for new subscribers.

  • Donations and Show channel in my profile.

New prices apply to people who subscribe from that moment on. To change what current subscribers pay, use the next tab.

Management — your subscribers

Change the price for current subscribers. Choose Increase or Decrease, and the form shows the lowest rate anyone is currently paying and how many people the change would affect. The rules are:

  • It only affects people paying less than the new amount. Anyone already paying more keeps their rate.

  • An increase of 20% or less applies automatically.

  • An increase of more than 20% asks each affected subscriber to confirm. Those who don't confirm are unsubscribed.

  • The new price starts 14 days after the change, from each person's next billing date, and you can change it again 14 days after they've been charged it.

  • Lowering a price needs no confirmation and has no waiting period.

Subscribers list shows who's subscribed, when they joined and on which plan.

Subscription charging lets you pause billing when you take a break — subscribers aren't charged, their remaining time is held for them, and they see that you've paused. Resuming gives back exactly the days they didn't use.

Entry for new subscribers closes the channel to newcomers without deleting it. This is also the first step of closing a channel down — see Deleting a Channel.
