How to Subscribe to a Channel

Choosing a plan

Open the channel. A paid channel shows the plans its owner has turned on — 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year — with a price for each. Pick one and pay.

Payment comes from your Sociala balance first, and from your card for anything it doesn't cover.

Two kinds of paid channel

  • Subscription — renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

  • One-time payment — opens the channel for a set time, from 3 to 12 months, and then simply ends. Nothing renews.

Free trial

If the channel offers one, you can try it free first — once per channel. Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged.

What you can read

New subscribers get a set number of the channel's most recent posts — 10, 50, 100 or all of them, as the owner decides — plus everything published while they're subscribed. The intro post is always open.

Don't see a subscribe button?

A channel can only offer subscriptions while it's active: at least three posts in the last 30 days. If it has gone quiet, subscribing isn't available until the owner publishes again.

Managing it afterwards

Everything you've subscribed to is in Settings → Subscriptions. See Managing Your Subscriptions and Canceling Your Subscriptions.
