Everything you fill in on Account info is visible to anyone who opens your profile — with one exception. Here's the list.
Visible to everyone
Your name and username.
Your bio and profile categories.
Your links.
Your profile picture and cover image.
Nothing here is required beyond a name, a username and one category — leave out whatever you'd rather not share.
Your email is hidden
Even from you, at a glance: on your own settings page the address is shown masked, as something like al***********@so*********. Click the field and it opens up so you can read it, then it goes back to being masked.
Your email is never shown on your profile, and it can't be changed — see Changing Your Email.
Your username
People find you by it, so it's worth choosing carefully — it can only be changed once every 30 days. It takes Latin letters, numbers, dots and underscores, runs from 6 to 30 characters, and needs exactly one dot or underscore, not at either end.
Phone and birthday
Both optional. The phone number is used for verification, not shown on your profile.
Your data
How we handle what you give us is set out in the Privacy Policy, and the Data Deletion Request document covers removing it. Both are in your settings under Security & Privacy → Permissions, and in Legal documents.
