Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Settings. The page opens on Account info — everything below lives there. Make your changes and click Save.
Name and username
Your name comes in two fields, first and last. You can change it once every 30 days, and the page tells you how long is left before you can change it again — so it's worth getting right.
The same 30-day rule applies to your username, which has its own rules, shown under the field as you type:
Latin letters, numbers, dots and underscores only.
Between 6 and 30 characters.
Exactly one dot or underscore, and not at the start or the end.
Profile categories
Pick from one to three categories that describe what you do. At least one is required — the counter beside the field shows how many you've used.
Bio
A short description of you and what you share. Up to 300 characters; the counter under the field keeps track.
Links
You can add up to three links. See How to Add Social Media Links to Your Profile.
Personal details
Email — shown here, but not editable. See Changing Your Email.
Location — required.
Phone — optional, used for verification.
Birthday — day, month and year.
