Disconnecting Your Payout Account

Your payout account is the bank account your Sociala earnings are withdrawn to. You connect it once, and you can change or disconnect it whenever you need to.

Changing to a different account

Open Wallet and click Add withdrawal details in the panel on the right. You'll be taken to our payment provider to enter the new details, and returned to Sociala once it's done.

Disconnecting it

You'll find the option to disconnect your payout account in your account settings.

While no account is connected, withdrawals don't work. Withdraw shows Withdrawal account required until you connect one again. So if you're switching accounts, connect the new one straight away — and if a withdrawal is on its way, wait for it to arrive first.

Good to know

  • One payout account can be linked to one Sociala profile. An account already connected to another profile will be refused.

  • Your balance stays where it is. Disconnecting doesn't move or freeze any money.

If you didn't do this

If your payout account was changed or disconnected and it wasn't you, write to us at [email protected] straight away — we treat it as urgent. See If Your Account Has Been Taken Over.
