On a subscription channel you decide how far back new subscribers can read. It's a way to keep your back catalogue valuable without closing it off entirely.
New subscribers get access to a set number of your most recent posts — 10, 50, 100 or All. Everything you publish after they subscribe is theirs as part of the subscription.
Where to set it
You'll find Post visibility limit in the channel creation form, and afterwards under Settings → Membership. New channels start at All.
Good to know
You can change the limit at any time.
Changes only apply to people who subscribe afterwards. Current subscribers keep the posts that were open to them when they joined.
New subscribers can still buy individual posts that fall outside their limit, and those posts stay theirs.
Your intro post is always visible to everyone and doesn't count towards the limit.
