Every channel starts with an intro post. It's the first thing visitors see, and it tells them what they'd get if they joined.
How it works
The first post you publish in a new channel is its intro post.
It stays visible to everyone, including people who haven't joined or paid.
On a paid channel it doesn't count towards the post visibility limit — new subscribers get it on top of the posts their limit opens.
What to put in it
Write it for someone deciding whether to join: what the channel is about, what you publish and how often, and — for a paid channel — what subscribers get that others don't.
Where it doesn't appear
Intro posts are part of the channel, not standalone posts, so they don't show up under Posts in search. People find them by opening the channel.
