How to delete a chat
Open the chat you want to remove.
Click the three dots in the top right of the conversation.
Select Delete chat and confirm.
What deleting actually does
It clears the conversation from your list. The other person keeps their copy, and — this is the part worth knowing — if they write to you again, the chat comes back, old messages included.
So deleting is tidying up, not a door closing.
If you want the messages to stop
Block is the one that does that, and it's in the same three-dots menu. A blocked person can't write to you any more.
If the conversation broke the rules, use Report — also in that menu — and tell us what happened.
