When you add a video to a post by pasting a link rather than uploading a file, you can choose where it starts — handy when the part worth watching is three minutes in.
How to set it
Add a video block and paste your link into the Video link field.
Click Trim video below the video.
Enter the moment the video should start, in the format 00:00.00.
Your readers will see the video begin from that point.
Good to know
This applies to linked videos. A video file you upload plays from the beginning — trim it before uploading if you need a shorter cut.
Nothing changes on the original video or on the site it's hosted on. You're only choosing where playback starts inside your post.
