On Sociala a dislike costs a small fee. Liking, commenting and everything else stay free — the fee is there so that a dislike is a considered piece of feedback rather than a reflex.
What it costs
$0.10 (USD) per post, taken from your Sociala balance.
Nothing is charged without asking you first. When you click Dislike, a window opens showing the amount and where it will come from, with Cancel and Pay $0.10. The dislike is only registered once you confirm.
Each post is charged separately — paying for one doesn't make the next one free.
When it's free
Disliking your own post costs nothing and skips the confirmation window entirely.
Changing your mind
To remove a dislike, click the dislike icon again, or click the heart to change it to a like. Your reaction is counted in the reaction tally shown under the post.
