Every email we send has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it stops that kind of email — not all of them at once.
So if you unsubscribe from a channel's updates and later get an email about a comment reply, nothing has gone wrong: those are separate. Unsubscribe from each kind you don't want, as it arrives.

What unsubscribing doesn't affect
Service emails keep coming, and you wouldn't want them to stop: confirming your email address, resetting your password, and anything to do with payments or access to your account.
Changed your mind
There's no self-service way back — once you've unsubscribed from a kind of email, the link that would resubscribe you is in emails you no longer receive. Write to us at [email protected] and we'll turn it back on.
