Open Connections in the side menu. There are four lists:
Friends — people you're connected with both ways.
Followers — people who follow you and see your posts in their feed.
Following — people you follow, whose posts appear in yours.
Requests — friend requests, with a switch between Pending (waiting for your answer) and Sent (waiting for theirs).
Each list has its own search box, so you don't have to scroll.
What you can do with someone
The three dots beside a name open the actions for that list. On Friends they are Unfriend, Follow, Report and Block; the other lists offer what makes sense there — unfollowing, adding as a friend, accepting or declining a request, cancelling one you sent.
Actions here take effect immediately. There's no «are you sure?» on this page — that only appears on someone's profile. Worth knowing before you click.
Removing a follower
You can't. There's no option for it in the Followers list. The only way to stop someone following you is to block them, and that cuts the connection in both directions — see How to Block a User.
Finding new people
Beside the lists you'll find People you may know, based on mutual friends, and Based on your interests, based on your profile categories. Both have Add friend and Follow right on the card.
